There are products I like but do not like the brand. There are brands I like but I do not like the product. For me to be involved with something, really believe in it, and buy into it both of those things need to be present.
I recently invested in Clear Water Distillery Co. Why?
I believe wholeheartedly in their brand and in the product. First off the product. It's second to none. Clean, top shelf, and of the highest quality. My favorite is Josephine.
But that brings me to the branding aspect. I love what they do and their message. They are about being different. Defiant. Standing out in the crowd. Doing it the right way, or making a sacrifice even when it is difficult.
In full disclosure, as I mentioned at the beginning of this review, I own stock in the company and have a vested interest in its success. My enthusiasm for what they are doing is genuine, however. To be perfectly frank, I went into this with really low expectations. I wasn’t expecting their spirits to be as good as they are. I hope that Matt and the team can forgive me for this, because after having a taste, my opinion is firmly in the camp of “This stuff is delicious!”
